A small but mighty thinker, dreamer, creator.
My story began with a thirst for turning the ordinary into anything but…
When I was a toddler, our family had a player piano—one of those magical contraptions that could make music all by itself, as if ghostly hands were pressing the keys. To everyone else, it was a treasure. To me, it was a treasure chest. And like any self-respecting child treasure-hunter, I quickly discovered its most valuable loot: a tangle of marvelous rubber tubes that were “essential” to the piano’s pneumatic system. But honestly, what could be more essential than repurposing them for my own creative endeavors? So, one day, I quietly liberated a fistful of tubes, convinced they were secret conduits just waiting to be transformed. Neither my parents nor the piano was thrilled with my innovative spirit. But to me, that was proof I was onto something big! The piano had been merely one possible destiny for those tubes. In my hands, they’d lived a far more adventurous life. Even then, I believed in finding new possibilities hidden in plain sight.
That same spirit has guided me ever since. For more than three decades, I’ve built a career dedicated to helping nonprofits grow, connect, and thrive. What drew me to this work—and what continues to inspire me—is the power of people coming together around a mission. I’ve seen firsthand how a compelling story, a well-planned campaign, or a single conversation with a donor can ripple outward to change lives and strengthen communities in deeply meaningful ways.
Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with organizations at the local, regional, and national levels to bring big visions to life. I’ve led strategic fundraising campaigns that united supporters around common goals, nurtured donor relationships built on trust and shared purpose, and created special events—from galas to golf tournaments—that raised critical funds while celebrating each mission. My experience also spans legacy and planned giving, ensuring that generosity today continues to make an impact for generations to come.
I love building partnerships—whether connecting with corporate sponsors, collaborating with foundations, or crafting successful grant proposals that bring resources where they’re most needed. On the marketing side, I have a penchant for helping nonprofits tell their stories in ways that resonate—through digital campaigns, messaging, and content creation that elevate voices, inspire action, and expand reach.
What has made this career so meaningful for me is knowing that behind every campaign, event, or partnership is a greater purpose: helping organizations change lives and make the world more compassionate, inclusive, and just.
That curious child with the piano tubes never stopped looking for new, more meaningful ways to connect things. Today, as a consultant, I bring that same mix of creativity, energy, and strategy to guide nonprofits toward greater impact.
