The meaning behind CauseWay
CauseWay is a nod to the Causeway Bridge — the world’s longest continuous bridge over water — stretching across Lake Pontchartrain to connect New Orleans with the North Shore. Just like that bridge, my work is all about making connections: linking a nonprofit’s cause to the people, resources, and opportunities that help it thrive. And the way? That’s the guidance, strategy, and a little sparkle of magic that guides organizations toward greater impact.

Fun Fact About Ann Marie
My first foray into mission-driven nonprofit work was with Up With People, an organization dedicated to empowering youth as global citizens through service, dialogue, and the performing arts. As a performer, public relations representative, and music manager, I traveled across the U.S. and Europe for two years with 250 young adults from 30 countries, using music and community engagement to create positive change. Highlights included performing in the halftime show at Super Bowl XVI, singing for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, and spending two summers on stage at SeaWorld San Diego. That experience sparked my lifelong passion for storytelling, community building, and advancing missions that make a global difference.
